Asia Round Up - Data Suggest Slowdown In Japanese Production
Wednesday, the news flow from Asia remained thin with no major reports due for release. Data released by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry showed that the all-industry index fell 1.8% month-on-month in September, following 0.8% gain in July. The tertiary index dropped 1.4% on a monthly basis. The construction sector recovered 1.9%, after sinking in July to its lowest level in over a decade.
